Finally up to date!

Well, it looks like I'm the only regular on the Kennebooks Blog so far.. But that doesn't stop me! I'm trying to keep the blog as up to date as I can, so that people can follow events at the store whether they're on Facebook, Blogger, or just prefer Email.

On a separate note, the weather is just awful... I'm sitting in the back office looking out at the parking lot, and I didn't know that much water could fit in a cloud.. At least everything is very green!

Stay tuned!

UPCOMING EVENT - Toni Buzzeo, August 11th, 10:30 AM

Toni Buzzeo will be coming to read and sign her collection of published children's books on Tuesday, August 11th, at 10:30 AM. Adventure Annie is her newest book, and her other titles include The Sea Chest (a personal favorite of mine! Illustrated by Mary Grandpre, the same artist who illustrated the American Harry Potter dust jackets - the pictures are just stunning!) and Ready or Not Dawdle Duckling. If you can't make it then, give us a call and we can set aside a signed copy for you to pick up later.

Wade Zahares Signing on July 29th

Local Illustrator Wade Zahares was in on July 29th to talk about his art and his newest book, Pony Island. If you missed the signing, ask for our signed copies the next time you're in the store! Wade has a bright and uniquely vibrant style which makes his illustrations stand out among his peers - come take a look!

Author Lynne Plourde Reading and Signing Today

Today, July 22nd, local author Lynne Plourde came to Kennebooks for a reading and signing. It was a great success: children and parents alike were engaged and entertained by Lynne's storytelling. We have many signed copies on hand, and will gladly set one aside if you give us a ring.
